**Chronology and Transit:** The cover was dispatched at the Saigon Central Office on August 7, 1959, which marks the exact official first day of issue for this historical railway commemorative stamp series. It reached its destination in Paris on August 10, 1959, as verified by the circular arrival datestamp on the reverse.
