1956 Malaya (Kelantan) to Denmark – International Registered Cover with High-Density Multi-Franking 

An exceptional and visually striking international registered commercial-philatelic cover sent from the provincial post office of Kuala Krai (State of Kelantan, Malayan Federation) to Copenhagen, Denmark. The piece documents an extraordinary high-density assembly of the contemporary definitive series. 

**Franking and Tariff:** The cover is franked with an extensive multi-value combination of eleven stamps from the Sultan Ibrahim definitive issue of Kelantan. The arrangement consists of ten stamps applied to the obverse and a single 25c value applied to the reverse. The specific denominations included are 1c, 2c, 4c, 5c, 6c, 8c, 10c, two 12c stamps, 20c, and the 25c on the back, summing up to a total postage paid of 1 Dollar and 5 Cents (105 cents). This substantial franking was intended to display almost the entire low-to-medium section of the definitive set, heavily overpaying the basic registered UPU rate to Europe and catering to a multiple-weight letter scale. 

**Chronology and Regional Routing:** The cover was registered at Kuala Krai on February 13, 1956, receiving the clean official rectangular paper registration label R 4278. It was routed via regional state transport toward the coastal capital hub, receiving the mandatory circular sorting transit backstamp of Kota Bharu on February 14, 1956, completing its local verification path before transoceanic dispatch to Scandinavia. No arrival postmark is present on the reverse at Copenhagen, which perfectly aligns with the standard European delivery operating procedures of the post-war era.
