Description: A beautifully preserved commercial registered cover sent from Budapest, Hungary, during the interwar period to Velika Kikinda, Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

• Stamps: Features the complete set of 5 stamps commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the Recapture of Buda from the Turks (1686-1936).
• Cancellations: Dual-canceling method utilized at the origin post office:
  • A special commemorative postmark neatly struck across the stamps.
  • A standard regular circular datestamp struck separately on the cover envelope, leaving the stamps fully visible and clear of heavy ink. Datestamp reads September 2, 1936.

• Registration Label: Official Hungarian R-label attached from the main office: Bp. 62.
• Destination: Addressed to Vel. Kikinda (Velika Kikinda), a highly interesting postal destination within the multinational region of Vojvodina, Yugoslavia.
