An attractive and historically significant international transoceanic airmail cover sent from Bogota, Colombia, to Schaffhausen, Switzerland, documenting the early operational years of the unified national and private airmail network. 

**Franking and Airmail Surcharge:** The cover displays a dual-system franking tailored to meet contemporary international postal tariffs. The basic UPU surface rate of 12 Céntimos is perfectly paid with an 8c blue definitive stamp alongside a horizontal pair of the 2c value from the oil fields regular series (Petrolera). The domestic and transoceanic air flight component is paid with a single 30c air surcharge stamp (Sobreporte Aéreo), successfully funding the prioritised flight routing out of South America. 

**Postal Markings and Mancomun Context:** The obverse features the circular town departure datestamp of Bogota dated March 13, 1935, cleanly cancelling the stamps. Crucially, the layout exhibits a prominent auxiliary administrative handstamp applied in blue ink reading Par avion. correo aereo. Mancomun 4. This specific marking stems from the historical 1932 joint postal decree (Convenio de Mancomunidad) signed between the Colombian Government and the SCADTA airliner to merge domestic postal sorting. The division hallmark Mancomun 4 identifies the exact processing desk in charge of European and overseas air dispatches, with the specific blue ink confirming its application at the central sorting office. 

**Transit Status:** No arrival postmark is present on the reverse at Schaffhausen, fully conforming to the contemporary Swiss postal operating regulations for non-registered international priority mail.
